Bhayangkara FC Coach Hopes Evan Dimas et al Focus Face Rest Game
Bhayangkara FC again wary of the end of the 2017 League season to reach the champion.
Double defeat in a row to make pemuncak standings League 1 2017 is only one point ahead of PSM Makassar who sit in second place.
Despite the thin lead, Bhayangkara FC tried not to panic from the pursuit of other clubs.
In the next week, the team nicknamed The Guardian will challenge Madura United who is currently in fifth position, five points behind Bhayangkara FC.
In addition to Madura United, Bhayangkara FC also still meet Persela Lamongan, Mitra Kukar, and Persija Jakarta.
Bhayangkara FC coach Simon McMenemy asked Evan Dimas et al to stay focused on every game.
“Opportunities for the champions are still there, we have to focus on seeing game after game,” said Simon.
“Actually, our target is not champion in this season because the management asked Bhayangkara FC only through the top five,” said the Scot from Scotland.
The match against Madura United so far has not been set in place because the team nicknamed the Laskar Sappe Kerrab was exposed to punishment from the Committee of Discipline (Komdis) PSSI.
Even so, Simon still targets victory against Madura United to Bhayangkara FC chance of winning the title still wide open.
“We still fix the victory at home to Madura United, two consecutive defeats from Barito Putera and PSM Makassar should be fixed, especially how to anticipate kick off the ball from the opponent,” said Simon.
